STARSHIP SAKURA
Fans have always strived to create something of their own from a concept put forth by someone else, be it fanfics, doujinshi, or other creative works. As such we are looking for the same with Starship Sakura. Only, instead of the base work being an anime, manga, movie, or other work, it is an event, and we will integrate the work of our fans into the event.
We hope to add an element of fantasy to Sakura Con by having our dance artists also perform as characters in a live action stage show as they play their dance music. Each performer and dance staff member will be responsible for acting as a character as they prepare and execute the dance. They will be dressed in their costumes, and act out while walking around the con during the day to support the story around the dance.
This year the story has been re-booted to harbor more outside creativity and submissions from con-goers. Many of last years themes and history will be back this year.
Con-goers are encouraged to make suggestions and interact with the performers both here on the message board and at the con during the day. You are also all encouraged to submit fan-fics, drawings, costume, stage, music, animation, and any other creative ideas you have that you believe will help to build the over all story and background of Starship Sakura.
- Fanfic/Fanart cannot have an 18+ rating, must be acceptable to put forth to the membership, which means nothing higher than a Teen rating.
- All works will be reviewed for content and quality before being published as part of the combined works.
- All works must be original.
- No cross-over characters from copyrighted works.
- Original characters beyond the set UESC characters are allowed.
- Be mindful of the timeline and plot developments present in currently published works.
- All works become property of ANCEA/Sakura-Con for the purposes of promotion and distribution to its members.

IAN K
Producer/DJ/MC - UK Hardcore
Mad Panik Records
2008 has seen Ian step his game up to the highest level yet, with remix work and original tracks being worked on at record pace. Spring saw him signed with Mad Panik Records run by Rize, Starr and Ben Sparrow, and several of his tracks making a splash at Hardcore Till I Die in the Sun 2008. He recently finished a remix for Simon Apex and Lostboy's newest project, Em-Brace, with his "Rocker Mix" of "Dream Invader". From vocal tracks like "I'll be Waiting" and "No Regrets" to the harder edged "Ten years Ago", Ian has no plans of stopping anytime soon. He has come into his own as an artist, MC'ing, DJ'ing, performing his Live PA and Producing tracks to make the crowd lose control.
For Starship Sakura Ian will appear as Captain Kawabata and will be performing all original tracks LIVE! The set has been created specifically for this event and features all live tracks by Ian K.
